Thanks for your comment about my His Dark Materials pic. 'Zactly what I was thinking - some sort of white bird is probably the way to go. Only problem is I suck at painting birds... which is why I'll probably never get round to it...
Your comment about tracing paper bubbling when burned (a couple of posts down) made me laugh. I recently (re)discovered that tracing paper does some severe bucking when covered in glue, and contorts any other bits of paper it's stuck to. Cost me a days work in fixing the problem :/ Bloomin tracing paper.
